🧠 One idea to sit with

The answers we’re searching for are usually already inside of us.

Though our modern world wires us to always look outside of ourselves - to always add more:

Another podcast episode… another book… another course…

But real clarity - especially around the big β€œwhy” decisions in our lives - comes from removing the noise enough to finally hear what’s already there.

Real clarity comes when you take the space to hear yourself again and make decisions from an inner conviction (not external pressure).

✍️ One practice to try

Next time you feel stuck, resist the urge to immediately add new input. Instead, write out what you already know about the situation, then step away:

🚢 Take a walk
πŸ”„ or simply switch to another activity for a few moments.

This is usually when the real stuff finally has room to come up.

❓One question to carry

β€œWhere am I using more information to avoid a decision?”

πŸ“ One quote to remember

❝

β€œIf [more] information was the answer, we’d all be billionaires with six pack abs.”

πŸ“· One moment from our lives

This was 2016 at Mount Shasta. We were capturing content for one of the fastest-growing sports brands in the world.

It was really fun work, and we had a ton of success. But even then, there was a quiet sense we weren’t building what we were actually here to build.

We didn’t want to leave this world with just a stack of dollar bills. We want to make a real difference.

And now, it feels like we’ve started to hit the sweet spot with these Solo Retreats. We’re seeing people experience real, life-changing transformations - the same that both of us experienced.

If you’d like to check out the program, we’ve updated the website with a much clearer layout of how it all works.

The Weekly Reset is a newsletter that goes out each Sunday. Each edition is simple by design. Just one clear idea, a practice to try, a reflection to sit with, and a glimpse into what we’re learning behind the scenes. It is written by Kyle Nelson and Eli Libby, Co-Founders of The Solo Retreat Company.
