🧠 One idea to sit with

If something really matters to you, then do this right now:

Add it to your calendar.

Because if we don’t intentionally create space for what matters most, our calendars slowly get filled by urgency, obligations, and everyone else’s priorities.Β

And the important things are always someday.

That’s one of the biggest hurdles people face with something like a Solo Retreat. They’re simply not used to giving themselves that kind of permission.

But once they do β€” once the space is protected ahead of time β€” everything else tends to reorganize around it.

✍️ One practice to try

This week, before your schedule is filled up by the endless stream of incoming urgent tasks, ask yourself:

β€œWhat would help me feel more grounded, clear, or connected right now?”

Then make actual time for it before the week fills itself for you.

❓One question to carry

Does your current calendar reflect that you matter too… or only everyone else’s priorities?

πŸ“ One quote to remember

❝

β€œSelf-care is not a waste of time. Self-care makes your use of time more sustainable.”

Jackie Viramontez

πŸ“· One real moment from our own week

Every year, this group makes time to step away from our increasingly busy lives and ride together.

And every year, I leave reminded of how important intentional space and real connection actually are.

A few years ago, I probably would’ve viewed this kind of trip as β€œtime away from work.”

Now I see it differently.

These intentional pauses are often the very thing that allows us to return clearer, more grounded, and more connected to what actually matters.

If you’re overdue for space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself again, get your Solo Retreat on the calendar today.
