The Weekly Reset 🧭 #003

A Sunday rhythm for clarity, focus, and slowing down.

1 Insight • 1 Practice • 1 Reflection

Each week, we share a simple framework to help you reset:
One idea to sit with.
One practice to try.
One question to carry.
One quote to remember.
And one real moment from our own week.

Let’s get into it 👇

🧠 One idea to sit with

Distraction isn’t just a tech problem. It’s often a purpose problem.

You can silence the notifications.
Put your phone in another room.
Even go full airplane mode.

But if you don’t know what you’re trying to move toward, distraction will always find a way back in.

Clarity of direction beats discipline of attention.
The moment you know why something matters, it gets easier to protect it.

Purpose is a filter.
Use it.

✍️ One practice to try

Each morning this week, ask:

“What am I avoiding that matters?”

  • Write it down.

  • Set a 25-minute timer.

  • Start on it immediately before the world gets a vote.

One small burst of focused effort can realign your whole day.

❓One question to carry

“What’s pulling me away from what I say I want?”

📝 One quote to remember

“The cost of a thing is the amount of what I will call life which is required to be exchanged for it.”

Henry David Thoreau

đź“· One real moment from our own week

Each week, we’ll close with something personal from our lives.
No filter. No fluff. Just a reminder that we’re walking this path right alongside you.

Eli: My mid week reset, a 5:30am solo bike ride before meetings!

Kyle: Every Friday is my Reset Day. I have a membership at a local SweatHouz. They have private suites that include a Sauna, Cold Plunge and Vit. C Shower. Contrast therapy has been a game changer in my health and mental clarity. https://sweathouz.com/

See you next Sunday!

The Weekly Reset is a newsletter that goes out each Sunday. Each edition is simple by design. Just one clear idea, a practice to try, a reflection to sit with, and a glimpse into what we’re learning behind the scenes. It is written by Kyle Nelson and Eli Libby, Co-Founders of Reset OS.
